| Overview | Niseko Discovery Cycling is a cycling event where participants can explore and enjoy the breathtaking nature, local cuisine, and unique charm of the Niseko area in Hokkaido. This is a non-competitive, fun ride event where participants ride at their own pace. The courses are designed to suit a range of fitness levels and experience, allowing riders to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Niseko and Mt. Yotei area, including scenic countryside views. Aid stations along the route offer local food and refreshments, providing a unique Niseko experience alongside the ride. |

| Participation Requirements | Participants must be able to prepare their own bicycle, helmet, and gloves (either by bringing their own or arranging rentals). Participants must be in good health and possess the fitness and riding ability required to complete their chosen course. Participants are encouraged to support the local community through accommodation and tourism in the Shiribeshi area of Hokkaido (optional). 60km Course: Open to participants elementary school age and above (Minors require parental consent. Elementary and junior high school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.) 100km Course: Open to participants junior high school age and above (Minors require parental consent and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.) |
