For this event, the start and finish lines are in different locations.
You can drop off your baggage before the start at the designated area. Your bags will then be transported to the finish line for you to pick up there. Please pack anything you’ll need at the finish line in your baggage.

Please bring a change of clothes and your own bathing items.
【55km】
You can purchase beer, soft serve ice cream, and extra meat at the orchard.

Kyowa Town Aid Station “Kyowa Town Hall”
Kyowa Town is a top producer of melon and watermelon in Hokkaido, with popular delicious processed foods. It’s also renowned for its tasty rice.
This location also hosts time trial races, so you can experience the race atmosphere.
Here’s what’s on offer:

Kamoenai Village Aid Station at “Roadside Station Oscoi! Kamoenai”
Kamoenai Village has flourished since the Edo period due to herring fishing, and in the Taisho era, it recorded the largest herring catch in Hokkaido, making it a village rich in fishing heritage.
At this aid station, cyclists will be treated to rice balls made with a special salmon flake produced by the local Fisheries Cooperative Women’s Group. This special salmon flake, known as “Hime-jirushi 1,” is made from exceptionally fresh salmon caught in the local waters during peak season, expertly selected and processed on the same day, then carefully matured.
Note: The soft-serve ice cream at the Roadside Station is also a popular item. Please enjoy it as well!
Aid Station Food: Rice balls featuring “Hime-jirushi 1” special salmon flakes, a local product of the Kamoenai Village Fishing Port.

Cape Kamui
From the “Women’s Forbidden Gate,” it’s about 770m to the tip of Cape Kamui, which dynamically juts out into the open sea. Following the “Charenka Path” promenade, with its magnificent views of the Sea of Japan stretching out on both sides, you’ll reach a spot in about 20 minutes where you can witness a rounded, 300-degree panoramic horizon.

Misaki no Yu Shakotan
This hot spring boasts magnificent views of the Sea of Japan and an abundance of hot water. Its superb location offers panoramic views of Cape Shakotan to the right and Cape Kamui to the left, which can be fully enjoyed from the open-air bath as well as the indoor bath with its large windows.
The restaurant serves classic dishes like the Atka mackerel set meal and seafood bowls, along with Taiwanese cuisine featuring local Shakotan seafood and wild vegetables.

Route 393 Maple Road Aid Station
This is a basic aid station. Please refuel with water, chocolate, and other provisions to regain your energy.
Ahead lies the Kabaridachi Tunnel, which enters the caldera, and a steep downhill slope. Please check your lights and brakes.

Akaigawa Village Aid Station “Akaigawa Roadside Station”
Akaigawa Village is a beautiful village belonging to the “Most Beautiful Villages in Japan” association, known for rich agricultural products supported by abundant water sources and home to the famous Kiroro Resort, renowned for its powder snow. Refresh yourself from cycling fatigue with products made from specialty pumpkins and fruits.

< 45.5km Point Scenic Stop >
Caldera Observation Deck
This observation spot is located on the Cold Water Pass, which goes through the caldera basin. You can gaze at Mount Yotei beyond the scenery of Akaigawa Village and truly feel the sense of accomplishment from your bike ride.

< 52.5km Mark: Finish Line >
Nitori Kanko Kajuen (Nitori Sightseeing Orchard)
Established in 1870, this long-standing orchard allows visitors to enjoy picking various fruits starting in late June. Their all-weather cherry orchard means you can enjoy Genghis Khan (Mongolian BBQ) anytime, rain or shine.

Located in one of Japan’s premier fruit-growing regions, you can savor Hokkaido’s unique Genghis Khan style (lamb meat BBQ) amidst picturesque cherry and wine grape fields overlooking the Sea of Japan.

【Road Surface Conditions】
Road conditions in Hokkaido may include potholes or mud in certain areas. Please pay close attention to the road surface while riding.
【In Case of Trouble】
Support riders and mechanics are stationed along the course. In emergencies, please contact the vehicle at the rear of the race or call the emergency number: 0136-55-6081.
【Supplies and Aid Stations】
Supplementary food is provided at each checkpoint, but please also prepare any necessary food and drinks yourself. Convenience stores along the route are also available for use.
【Checkpoints and Time Limits】
Each checkpoint has a time limit. If you miss the cutoff, you may be directed to take a shortcut or be picked up by a support vehicle. Please follow the staff’s instructions.
【Post-Finish Transportation】
At the finish area, bicycles will be transported back to the start location by truck. Participants will be transported by bus (two departures available at 13:20 and 14:20).
【Other Requests】
For safety management, you may be asked to provide your riding data. Also, for environmental protection, littering is strictly prohibited.
